Second Collections

Second collections are a stewardship learning moment. As Catholics, we are part of a universal Church that extends well beyond our own parish boundaries. Jesus calls us to “make disciples of all nations” (Mt. 28:19). Each collection represents our community of faith at work. Through these collections, you support St. Joseph Church and pastoral work at home and around the world.

HOLY DAYS/HOLIDAYS: Solemnity of Mary, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Holy Land, Easter, Assumption, Ascension of Jesus, Solemnity of All Saints, All Soul Days, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Flowers (Easter, Christmas), and Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Christmas,
UTILITIES/Heat and Fuel: Assist with the costs of heating and lighting the church.
FLOWERS: To enhance the beauty of the church for the holiday seasons.
CEMETERY UPKEEP: Assist with the costs of maintaining the parish cemetery.
OUTREACH: European Relief, Catholic Communication Campaign, Peter's Pence, Catholic Home Missions Appeal, The Catholic University of America, World Mission Sunday, Catholic Campaign for Human Development
