Come Pray the Gift of the Most Holy Rosary

Join us as we recite the rosary outside at the Fatima statue. On the morning of September 13th, all the roads leading to Fatima were crammed with people. An immense throng of pilgrims were walking to the Cova da Iria, reciting the Rosary. By noon, there were 25,000 to 30,000 people waiting for the apparition.The multitude was almost finished praying the Rosary when the children saw the customary flash of light that would precede Our Lady’s arrival. After a few moments, an approaching globe of light was observed by many in the crowd, and then Our Lady appeared on the Holm Oak tree.
