Holy Family Parish and Saint Joseph Church will host a Bible Study during Lent that will focus on using the Bible to understand the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows better. We will be using the book, The Seven Sorrows Bible Study For Catholics. The group will meet in the Holy Family Parish Gym every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. during Lent. Our first session begins Ash Wednesday, March 5th. We will continue for seven Wednesdays until April 16th.

Prayer is Powerful! Join Us on Thursdays for an hour of prayer for the sick, the dying, and the Holy Souls in Purgatory (booklets provided.) Prayers will include the Holy Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the Dying, the Litany for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and the Litany of Trust. The remainder of the hour (15-20 minutes) will be silent prayer. When you feel like there is nothing you can do for them – there is!

A Penance Service helps people to recognize their sinfulness, ask God for forgiveness, and be reconciled with the Christian community. Please take advantage of this opportunity to experience God’s mercy and healing touch in preparation for Easter.

First Friday Mass is a Catholic tradition that involves attending Mass and receiving Communion on the first Friday of the month to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The practice is part of the First Fridays Devotion, which requires nine consecutive months of participation. Reconciliation: 8-8:50 a.m.

Enjoy a Holy Family Fish Fry with fresh Haddock. The cost is $18 for adults and $8 for children ages 10 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Holy Family Parish Office or after all Masses on the following weekends: March 1/2, March 8/9, March 15/16, and March 22/23. The Stations of the Cross is a meditative prayer that follows Jesus’s path to Calvary, his suffering, death, and resurrection.

The First Saturday Devotion is also known as the "Five First Saturdays" and is a request from Our Lord and Our Lady to atone for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The purpose of the devotion is to make reparation for sins such as blasphemy, ingratitude, and indifference toward Mary. Reconciliation: 11-11:50 a.m.

Masses: 8 a.m. St. Joseph Church 10 a.m. Holy Family 12 p.m. Holy Family. Palm Sunday recalls the story in Christian Scripture of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, greeted by people waving palm branches. A reminder for Christians to welcome Jesus into their hearts and to be willing to follow him.

Spy Wednesday is the day we recall Judas' betrayal of Jesus.

*NO 8 a.m. MASS. Commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established the sacrament of Holy Communion before his arrest and crucifixion. It also commemorates His institution of the priesthood. Adoration until 9 p.m.

NO 9 a.m. MASS. Commemorating Jesus' crucifixion, Good Friday is a solemn day of mourning and reflection for Christians.

No 4 p.m. MASS OR CONFESSIONS. The Easter Vigil always begins after dusk. Four parts include: the Service of Light, the Liturgy of the Word, the Liturgy of Baptism, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

$50 per person/$100 per person. Cash Bar. Event Supports Youth Programs. This fund has helped our teens travel to the Steubenville Youth Conference. Tickets will be available after Holy Family Masses (Fr. will announce) and in the Parish Office. This event was a success last year; please help make this year great!

Come and join us as we listen to Dan Jason, author, missionary, and founder of EF3—an organization dedicated to helping people live life to the fullest. He will speak on Divine Mercy and discuss his book, The Saint Next Door. Coffee and doughnuts provided. Please bring something to share!
