Nine-Day Novena to Thérèse of Lisieux begins September 23 with Feast Day Mass October 1

First Friday—Feast Day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux—Mass at Holy Family at 9 a.m. Father Slezak will dedicate the first Friday Mass to her. Also, a first class relic of Saint Therese will be available for veneration after Mass. Adoration until 3 p.m. Prayers will be offered for the sanctification of Priests and Seminarians.

The Novena to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, The Little Flower, can be prayed anytime throughout the year for nine days in a row. Traditionally, it is prayed from September 22nd through September 30th. Her Memorial Feast Day is October 1st. Come Holy Spirit and fill the hearts of the faithful, and kindle in them the fire of divine love.

O Little Thérèse of the Child Jesus, please

pick for me a Rose from the heavenly

gardens and send it to me as a message of

love.

 

O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant

the favors I now place with confidence in

your hands.
