Devotees of Fátima believe that the First Saturdays help to console the sorrows of God, Jesus, and the Virgin Mary for the sins against her Immaculate Heart.
The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7th. In addition, on October 13th, we commemorate the final public appearance of our Blessed Mother to the shepherd children at Fatima and the occurrence of the “Miracle of the Sun”. We will be reciting the Most Holy Rosary outside at the Fatima statue, weather permitting, on Saturday, October 7th at 3:30 p.m. Accordingly, during the entire month of October, we will pray a prayer after each weekend Rosary as well as on October 13th. The prayer is available in the vestibule.
